Rocky, a 4-year-old dog, was brought in with a severe and deeply infected wound around his neck. The wound is extensive, with significant tissue damage, necrotic tissue and heavy contamination, making his condition critical. He was immediately admitted for emergency veterinary care. Rocky requires thorough wound cleaning and debridement, medication, pain management, nutritional support and continuous monitoring to control the infection and promote healing.
