Chintu, a 3-year-old male dog from Kandivali, was rescued with severe abscesses affecting both hind legs, accompanied by significant swelling, open wounds, and considerable pain. His injuries appeared consistent with possible trauma, although thankfully, no fractures were detected. Our veterinary team has started strong antibiotic therapy, IV fluids, pain management, and twice-daily wound dressings to control the infection and support healing. The primary concern is preventing the abscesses and infection from spreading further. Chintu remains under close observation and is slowly being supported through his recovery.
