❤️ Today’s Update Bali is stable and showing improvement, but he is still critical and requires intensive medical care. Unfortunately, the injuries to his front limbs are so severe that he has lost parts of both front limbs, including a paw/foot. Because of the extent of his injuries, Bali will not be able to return to his previous life on the streets. He will become a lifelong resident under our care. His immediate recovery is expected to take at least 2 months, potentially longer depending on wound healing, infection control, rehabilitation and his overall response to treatment.

Bali had lost a tremendous amount of blood, so immediate stabilisation was essential. A blood transfusion was administered, and thankfully, he has responded well to treatment.
